The swords found here are either from the classic Viking & Saxon period or from the slightly later transitional period (the early medieval period and the early crusades) where swords developed from the broad sword of the late Dark Ages to the medieval sword. Transitional swords are available with Type A blades or more accurate Transitional blades.
