This information applies to the 2002 Galleries and 2004 Website, the 2003 Website was not written by ITWorkshop
Javascript and cookies are not used. IP addresses and Browser ID strings are recorded, but not made available to any third party.
The pages are written in simple HTML and style sheets are used for layout. All browsers should be able to access the content. The design of the site will only be displayed by browsers with up to date CSS support. Users of browsers with incomplete CSS support may find it better to switch it off. The picture galleries require a browser with graphics capability.
The site is written to w3c standards and tested with various browsers including Lynx, Links, Fresco, Oregan TV interactor and Internet Explorer
Frames are used for navigation, but non-frames browsers should be able to fully access all the site content.
The site produced of RISC OS computers using StrongEd, HTMLEdit 5 and the Webdesigners toolkit.
Graphics are processed with the built in RISC OS utilities, Variations, Dplngscan and Pic_Index
The files are uploaded to the server by FTPc.
The computer used is a low energy StrongArm RISC PC, running RISC OS Select.
